How To Store Brownies So They Stay Fresh

Keep those Brownies fresh!

We all love to bake from time to time.  But there always seems to be that lingering question of “How to store brownies” that I just baked so they stay fresh.  We have so many choices available to us, but they always seem to lead down the same path of my brownies don’t stay fresh.  Of course, you could eat them all in a day or two, which many people do because of the kids, or the office, or the school, or whatever the situation is, but sometimes you just want to keep them on your counter and eat one when you want.

Some of us don’t have large families, don’t have a lot of kids, yet like to dabble in that little piece of chocolate sometimes after a meal.

With all the choices out there that we have, none have appealed to my needs.  Whether is was the fact the brownies didn’t stay fresh, or they sat on top of each other in a food storage container, nothing appeased me.  So what did I do, invent something.  Something that would solve all my needs.  Something that would solve more than just my needs of Brownie Storage.

Here are our current ways to store brownies:

Leave in the pan and put plastic wrap over it.

Problem with that is:

  • They won’t stay fresh
  • If you bake frosted brownies, the icing will stick

Put in a big food storage container.

Problem with that is:

  • Won’t stay fresh very long.
  • The container can be big.
  • You have to put one on top of the other.
  • Frosted brownies will get ruined.

Eat them all at once.

Problem with that is:

  • Don’t want to eat them all at once.
  • You don’t have a big enough family to eat them all at once.
  • You have no desire to share these yummy treats. *this is me*
